Look! I'm back for day 2!

That's a good sign right? Two days in a row! I had trouble deciding which printable to post today, but I went with my gut!

I have really been inspired lately by my beautiful sister (1 of the 5 beautiful sisters I have). She is a strong Christian woman and I love the random acts of kindness she does! For the past 3 weeks or so the kids and I have been doing things for other people. We will pick something (usually a few things) up at the store and say a prayer for God to lead us to who needs it most. It might be someone who feels unappreciated. It might be someone who feels lonely. It might be someone who has never stepped foot in a church. Or it might be someone who is already a strong Christian that just needs a reminder that they are doing good for the Lord! I don't know their story, but God does! There have been some who don't understand why I am giving them something. They will look at me like I am crazy (which in all honesty, is a little true!) and say things that give me the impression they think they are getting a joke pulled on them. There have been some that are overcome with emotion that I can't help but be overcome with emotion as well.

The feeling you get though. The satisfaction. The joy. It is amazing. I absolutely love it. Any time I give something to someone, I tell them God bless you. I'm all about any random act of kindness, but I want people to know WHY I am doing it. It is to plant that little 'Jesus Seed' as I call it. That is, after all, our job as Christians. We are to lead as many as we can to Christ. So, I scoured Pinterest for a cute RAK printable I could attach or give with my little gifts. Sure enough there were super cute ones that I fell in love with. However, I couldn't find any that mentioned God or Jesus on them anywhere. Being the problem solver that I am (my husband might challenge that statement!), I made my own. I would love to inspired all of you to get in on giving as well! It doesn't have to be anything grand. In fact most of the things we do are only a few dollars. It's the idea. The spark. The seed. Trust me, you will enjoy it!

So, here is the printable. I print it out on a 3x5 format on my printer so I can print off 4 on a sheet.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! I will be back tomorrow with another printable!

Well, hello there!

Okay, I admit it. I am a blog failure. I believe this is blog number 4 (or maybe 5) that I have started in the past 7 or so years. A few of them have done okay and a few of them never got past the first post or two. However, this one will be it. This one is the one. I have just got to get my creativity out to everyone! I owe it to you. ;)

There will be a lot of free printables here. There will be quite a few "OMGosh, look what I found" posts. And there will definitely be some tutorials for uber cool crafts. There is a chance I might throw in a few homeschool things we are doing currently too, especially with my little kiddos.

Before I post my first freebie, I will tell you a teeny bit about myself.

  • I am 32 (getting into my 30's wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be!)
  • I have been married to the hubs for 14 years in October.
  • I have 5 wonderful kiddos ages 12 down to 2. We had 2 girls, a boy, and then 2 more girls. Everyone says they feel sorry for my son because he is the only boy, but I can tell you right now, he will make a wonderful husband one day!!!! Plus, hubs and the dog are boys too. :)
  • I am a Christian. I was raised in church and it has been with me my whole life. My beliefs are very important to me and in my triumphs and joys, God gets all the glory!!!
  • I love photography. I have loved it for a long long time and I am blessed to be able to do it on the side to make a bit of money for my small crafting addictions.
  • I love to craft. Period. Anything. Everything. All of it.
  • I love making things in Photoshop! Anything I make and put on here will be free. I can't think of any reason that I would charge for something. I love working in Photoshop and I love getting freebies. Why not pass that on to you guys?

So, now onto the very first freebie (on this blog anyway)! When I first got onto Pinterest (do any of you remember when you had to be 'invited' to join? OMGosh, that was a horrible wait!) I pinned a print that had 3 birds on it. One was a momma, one was a daddy, and one was a baby. The phrase on it said "First we had eachother. Then we had you. Now we have everything". It was adorable. I put it in my Photoshop It folder and moved on to other pins. Since then, it has been pinned (just from my pin) thousands of times. Every time I get on Pinterest tells me '42 people have pinned this pin', '26 people have pinned this pin' and so on. You get the idea. Anyway, I wanted to make my own version of it. I think it would be an absolutely adorable baby shower gift and it's free! I mean, you don't have to tell them that! You can tell them whatever you want. You have my blessing. ;) Or maybe just buy a super fancy frame to put it in. And a pack of diapers. Buy the mommy a pack of diapers. Please. But don't buy her newborn diapers, because other people will and then she will have newborn diapers coming out her ears when her baby (if born average size and not preemie) will wear newborn diapers for about a week to two weeks. Speaking from experience, buy her a giant pack of size ones. She will think of you and how generous you are when she opens that pack up. Trust me.

Now that I have rambled enough, check out this freebie. It is for as big as an 18x20 print, but you can print it as small as you need. 8x10 is the typical size, but personally I am a fan of 5x7.
